Shivam Advisors Limited was set up by Mandeep Ahluwalia in 2015. The idea came about when he realized that there was a vacuum in the market for advisory services provided by experienced practitioners who had seen and been through some of the challenges and hurdles of running businesses and formulating strategies.
Mandeep has worked for a number of leading Financial Institutions including Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), Standard Bank, ABN AMRO and the Royal Bank of Canada. His last role at LBG was that of Global Head of Banks and Global Head of Group & Public Sector. Mandeep was a member of a number of management committees as well as a voting member of the Banks Credit Committee.
Mandeep has been involved in a number of Industry bodies and has also been a member of the European Council of BAFT.
A firm believer in the future of technology as well a desire to help entrepreneurs, Mandeep is also a member of the Indian Angel Network which invests in start-ups. He has invested via the Network as well as outside the network in a number of startups and FinTech companies where he mentors entrepreneurs and advises on growth strategies.
Mandeep has a Master's Degree from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris and a Bachelors degree from the Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi University. In addition, he has completed the private equity program at London Business School as well as a number of leadership programs at other leading business schools.
